It lacks about one week to Niobe's delivery ... our first litter after a stop of five years.

Our future mum spend the most of her day in front of the pellet stove sleeping and enjoying the warmth. Despite the bell is not so big (we don't expect many puppies indeed) to go up and downstairs seems to be a very difficult exploit ... in conclusion, she likes playing the victim role.

Her favorite activity when she goes in the yard is digging big holes in the flowe bed. It wasn't a nice flower bed but now it has no chances to survive. Maybe Niobe would like to deliver her puppies there?????

Because of Niobe's age (6 years) and the fact that this will be her first and only) delivery we planned a c-section next week, hoping she'll not decide to do all by herself during the weeek-end, so .. next week we'll bring up the delivery box just washed, disinfected and repainted for the occasion and we go to buy all we could need for the delivery, artificial milk included because it doesn't seem she has lot of milk.

The names of these puppies will start with the "P" so we are beginning to think to them yet but generally I decide the name looking the puppy's face, both for good luck and because every puppy has a name that "fits".
